Job description

Seats Incorporated is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finishing System Operator to join our first shift. In this role, you'll support the operation of our wash and powder coating systems, helping ensure each part meets quality standards before moving into final assembly.
Summary: Finishing Department Operators will handle seating components at both the pre- and post-treatment stages by racking unfinished metal parts in preparation for washing and powder coating, and un-racking by carefully removing finished parts from racks after they've completed the coating and curing process, ensuring no damage or defects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Load and unload parts as required to assure the production schedule is met and coordinate closely with production personnel.
  • Hang parts to ensure successful coating and spray for touch-up as needed.
  • Label parts and move them to the appropriate assembly area.
  • Clean and maintain equipment area.
  • Ensure a necessary supply of consumables and supplies: submit replenishment orders.
  • Monitor and maintain the proper performance of equipment in the wash and coating line.
  • Recommend process and system improvements.
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Ability to navigate computer systems to look up work instructions, production tables, QA Menu, routings, drawings, etc.
  • Ability to communicate well with others across departments
  • Requires physical stamina for repetitive motion, lifting, and standing.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.

We currently have openings on the following shifts:
1st shift: 3:00 am-1:30 pm Monday through Thursday, with overtime possible.

**Seats Incorporated offers an hourly wage starting at $19.10 per hour with an opportunity for progressive increases starting after 2 months and every 6 months afterward based on performance to a maximum of $22.40 per hour.
