Position: Home Visitor/Safe Care Provider- Full Time Position
Location: Zapata TX.

Project HOPES I is committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect through education and early intervention in Webb, Zapata, and Jim Hogg counties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit and provide curriculum-based parenting education sessions to primary adult caregivers of young children ages 0-5 in their homes to prevent abuse and neglect.
- Provides case management and referrals.
- Administers data collection instruments and record data collected.
- Documents all services provided and maintains participant charts.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Home Visitors/ Safe Care Providers should have at least an associate's degree or equivalent (a bachelor's is preferred) in the behavioral sciences or related field. It is preferred that they have previous experience working with children or youth and/or families.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) is required.
- Ability to occasionally work some evening hours.
- Reliable transportation, good driving record, proof of insurance, a valid driver's license are required.

Salary: $19.23 to $21.15 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
