Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while also allowing you to engage with our outpatient office during team meetings or community outreach events. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Rooted Life LLC, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments and identifying the specific needs of clients and their families through interviews, testing, and observations.
• Developing, implementing, and regularly evaluating individualized treatment plans that align with clients' therapeutic goals.
• Maintaining precise documentation of client interactions and progress according to state standards and organizational policies.
• Participating in weekly clinical team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and collaborate on care strategies.
• Providing crisis intervention services and outreach counseling in various settings, including schools, homes, and community organizations as directed.
• Leading specialized group therapy sessions focusing on topics such as grief, anger management, parenting skills, and coping with illness.
• Attending weekly case reviews, contributing to a collaborative culture that emphasizes continuous improvement in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Rooted Life LLC serves a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families from varied backgrounds. You will work closely with clients dealing with a range of issues, such as mental health disorders, relationship conflicts, grief and loss, and life transitions. Our holistic approach aims to equip clients with the necessary coping strategies and tools to achieve sustainable mental wellness.

Qualifications

• Current licensing as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral science field is required.
• Certification in one or more therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, family systems therapy) is essential.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
• A strong ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience post-licensure is preferred, candidates with a background in medical social work or experience in a multidisciplinary treatment setting will be given special consideration. Familiarity with community resources and a commitment to client-centered care are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

Rooted Life LLC offers a competitive salary between $80,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
