Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychotherapy and mental health services to patients battling conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate patients’ emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, ensuring that treatment plans are based on thorough understanding and evidence-based practices.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, applying culturally competent strategies that align with the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Modify treatment regimens based on ongoing assessments and patient progress, with an emphasis on monitoring outcomes and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, promoting informed decision-making.
• Uphold rigorous ethical standards by ensuring patient confidentiality, informed consent, and maintaining professional integrity in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve serving diverse populations within the community, focusing on individuals with varying backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and mental health challenges. The ability to connect with and understand the unique experiences of each patient is critical to fostering a successful therapeutic rapport.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical skills, including the capability to conduct thorough assessments and create evidence-based, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software for managing patient information and facilitating care coordination.
• Understanding of various mental health conditions and an empathetic approach towards the complexities faced by patients.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with underserved populations and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be considered an asset. Understanding of community resources specific to Anaheim and surrounding areas is encouraged to enhance patient support.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
