Job description

As Risk Strategies joins the Brown & Brown family, we are expanding our presence in Northern California and we are actively building a scalable Commercial Lines sales team designed for growth.
We are seeking a Commercial Lines Sales Leader to drive regional expansion by identifying growth opportunities, adding producer capacity through strategic hiring, and accelerating cross-sell partnerships across the organization. This is a senior sales leadership role for a commercial insurance professional who brings immediate market credibility and understands how to grow client relationships through a consultative, risk-advisory approach.
Strong producers and service teams are in place. The opportunity is to shape where and how Commercial Lines grows next as regional capacity continues to expand.
This Role is About:
Commercial Lines Growth & Expansion
• Identifying geographic, industry, and market opportunities to expand Brown & Brown's Commercial Lines footprint across Northern California
• Driving organic growth among businesses with increasingly complex risk profiles and expanding insurance needs
• Partnering closely with Employee Benefits, Private Client Services, Retirement, and Wealth teams to expand share of wallet
• Driving disciplined use of CRM and pipeline analytics to inform growth priorities, hiring decisions, and forecasting
Talent & Capacity Building
• Recruiting and attracting high-caliber Commercial Lines producers to support regional growth
• Providing strategic direction and deal support to producers
• Serving as a leadership resource as the Commercial Lines practice scales
Client & Market Engagement
• Building relationships with commercial clients, advisors, and centers of influence across the region
• Maintaining strong carrier and market relationships to support increasingly complex commercial placements
• Representing Brown & Brown within the Northern California business community
• Clearly conveying strategy, priorities, and expectations to diverse audiences

Qualifications
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Established Northern California market relationships preferred
• Ability to travel locally as needed

Pay Range:
$180,000.00 - $225,000.00 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
