The Clinic Manager serves to manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic team and coordination of the daily administrative and clinical functions of the clinic. Ensuring compliance with regulations. Assist with patient-centered care as needed. Represents Rescue Mission at partner meetings, speaking engagements and events as scheduled. On-Call rotation and evening clinic hours as scheduled.
Hours of Availability:
Full-Time with Flexible Schedule
Typically, Monday - Friday; 8a - 5p; weekends, nights & holidays as scheduled

Compensation: $21.02 - $36.77 (non-exempt/hourly)

• Demonstrated attention to detail/strong organizational skills to assist with multiple daily assignments and special projects.

Specific Qualifications, Strengths & Skillset:
Previous experience managing a clinic with a medical background preferred (due to this role potentially can assist with patient care)
Public Health or Healthcare Administration degree, helpful & preferred
A strong understanding of healthcare operations, management principles, community resources and patient care is crucial
Servant Leadership mindset to proactively manage team members and clinic operations in a timely, efficient manner with strong advocacy for unique needs of patients.
Ability to build strong relations and initiate conflict resolution early to avoid the need for de-escalation skills
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in managing projects/daily assignments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google products and email communications.
Working knowledge of HIPPA, OSHA and healthcare clinic guidelines and regulations.
Current active Pharmacy Tech, MOCA, and/or Dental Xray certifications; to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Career Summary (not all-inclusive):
Serves to ensure timely, efficient, and respectful clinical services are provided with a patient-centered care approach in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist the clinic team with patient care as needed; include maintaining team dynamics, flow of patients in the clinic, compliance with healthcare regulations, data management & reporting, certification compliance for the clinic and team members, on-call rotation to support the clinic after-hours. Street Outreach coordination and participation, maintain a safe, secure and clean clinic. Volunteer engagement, training and coordination of assignments.
All Rescue Mission of Roanoke team members may be asked to complete other duties as assigned by the leadership/management. The expectation is to complete these assignments as requested

Since 1948, the Rescue Mission has continued a tradition of comprehensive care to those in crisis in our community. The homeless, the hungry, the chemically addicted, the impoverished and the hopeless have all found a warm welcome at the Rescue Mission.
Men, women and children have found a safe place and compassionate friends in their darkest moments. The Rescue Mission is open 24 hours/day and 365 days/year and provides food, clothing, shelter, an on-site clinic, Recovery Program, case management, and aftercare services. All people in crisis are served regardless of race, gender, creed, age, or ethnicity.
In addition, the Rescue Mission operates a Donation and Recycling Center, 2nd Helpings - Gallery and Shop, Thrift 460, and has an online store presence. All proceeds from sales benefit the programs of the Rescue Mission.
