Job description

Quality Control Inspector Location: Onsite, Pittsburgh PA Job Type: Full Time Work Authorization: US Citizen / GC The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Inspector. This individual will be responsible for detecting nonconformities, preventing defects, and maintaining accurate quality records. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of Quality Control experience with strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and basic understanding of electronics. Responsibilities Manage daily inspection priorities in coordination with Warehouse and Production managers Communicate internally quality issues identified during inspection or identified during production process / material handling Conduct outgoing inspection to validate material moved through the production process meets quality standards Accurately input data into appropriate data storage locations for all inspected material Validate incoming and outgoing inspection documentation is available, organized, and complete Prepare reports for inspection failures, and provide In-process inspections as needed Provide training and support for the Production team for quality-related process steps and other topics as needed Qualifications 1 or more years of experience with incoming and outgoing Quality Control inspection Demonstrated level of technical capability and responsibility Very good written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Word and Excel Demonstrated capability as a self-starter in a hands-on environment is required
