Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Genie Mental Health Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: You will lead therapeutic group sessions, encouraging open dialogue among clients to foster shared experiences and insights.
• Individual Counseling: Deliver tailored, empathetic counseling sessions focused on exploring clients' thoughts and emotions, helping them create actionable coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and needs.
• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to evaluate client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, communicating regularly to coordinate care and consult on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on providing compassionate care to young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating mental health challenges. As a counselor, you will engage with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding them through their therapeutic journeys and aiding their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Education: A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Licensure: A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health treatment is required, we prefer candidates who have demonstrated experience working with young adults in outpatient settings. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and telehealth practices will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
