Position Overview

Relate Therapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), or Associate Clinical Psychologist to enhance our outpatient mental health services in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This full-time remote position requires a compassionate and skilled individual ready to provide critical support and professional counseling to individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to clients coping with emotional and behavioral difficulties, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Document clinical assessments and treatment plans accurately and in real-time, ensuring compliance with agency standards and applicable state regulations.
  • Maintain a manageable weekly caseload of clients while adapting workload based on clinician and client requirements, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Regularly participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and strategies to foster a collaborative treatment environment.
  • Engage in ongoing training and supervision to enhance clinical skills and personal development through feedback and peer learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients facing various mental health conditions, primarily anxiety disorders, depression, and challenges stemming from life transitions. Our client population is diverse, representing various cultural backgrounds, and the therapist's role is to create an empathetic space where clients can openly explore their concerns and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications
  • Currently registered in California as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Clinical Social Worker, or Associate Clinical Psychologist.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, with a Master’s degree in pursuit or obtained.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating clinical insights effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple client appointments and documentation tasks efficiently.
  • Possess a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team-oriented outpatient setting, valuing input from diverse perspectives.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in providing outpatient mental health counseling.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems for clinical documentation.
  • Experience with specific therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus.
