Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client histories and develop tailored therapy plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions that focus on addressing emotional and behavioral challenges effectively.
  • Utilize evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to agency standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring all client information is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in regular case consultations to enhance treatment planning and outcomes.
  • Manage a consistent weekly caseload, providing flexibility to accommodate the diverse needs of clients and clinicians alike.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training sessions to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Clinical Associate Therapist at Relate Therapy, you will work with a varied client population, including children, adolescents, and adults. You will address a broad range of mental health concerns, ensuring personalized treatment approaches that resonate with clients' unique backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications
  • Must hold an active California registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), or Associate Clinical Psychologist.
  • A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a closely-related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, time management, and organizational skills essential for delivering effective client care.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team-oriented outpatient setting and inspire collaborative success among team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling, ideally in an outpatient setting.
  • Experience utilizing various therapeutic modalities specific to individual and group therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
