We are seeking an experienced Unix/Linux DBA with strong Shell scripting expertise and hands-on experience in distributed NoSQL database technologies, particularly Cassandra.Â
Primary Skill:
- Unix / Shell Scripting
- Linux
- Cassandra
- 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration with advanced Shell scripting
- 3+ years of experience in NoSQL or distributed database technologies
- Strong understanding of Cassandra or similar distributed databases
- Experience in production support and database operations
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Ansible, BladeLogic, etc.
- Experience with distributed databases like Cassandra, Redis, CockroachDB, SingleStore, TigerGraph
- Expertise in cluster management, replication, consistency tuning, and multi-DC setup
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in high-volume enterprise environments
- Flexible, proactive, and strong problem-solving mindset
