Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to determine the unique treatment needs of clients, ensuring each individual receives personalized attention and care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for diverse patient populations, providing support through individual, couples, family, and group sessions.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to client-specific issues and goals.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver holistic and integrated care solutions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, using state-of-the-art EMR tools.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health, attending workshops, and participating in training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from various backgrounds and present a range of concerns, including trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As a counselor with Recovery Solutions Center, you will work closely with clients of all ages, empowering them to overcome challenges and improve their mental health. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• At least 2 years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health care.
• Robust understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations surrounding counseling practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and develop trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization and experience in areas such as trauma recovery, substance abuse treatment, family therapy, or couples counseling are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, engaging with other healthcare professionals to optimize client care.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and relevant software to manage patient information and documentation processes.
