As our premier provider of mental health services, you will play a vital role in fostering personal development and emotional well-being within our community.

About the Organization

The Recovery Services Center is a community health clinic committed to providing high-quality, accessible mental health services to underserved populations. Our team consists of skilled professionals who offer a range of mental health treatments designed to empower clients on their journey toward recovery. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and mental wellness, ensuring that every individual receives dedicated care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving clients from the comfort of their homes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive care. Our innovative approach to mental health emphasizes teamwork and continuous learning, creating a collaborative atmosphere that fosters professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, tailored to the client's specific needs.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, as well as individual counseling, addressing a range of topics from trauma to substance misuse.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatment and research.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care, participating in case management and team meetings.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at the Recovery Services Center, you will work primarily with individuals and families who have limited access to mental health services. Our clientele often includes those facing challenges related to trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. The diversity of our client base allows counselors to gain valuable experience in delivering culturally competent and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Proficient knowledge of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team is essential.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
  • Advanced training in specific therapeutic methods or modalities would be beneficial.
  • Experience with low-income clients or promoting access to mental health services is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Professional liability/malpractice insurance coverage.
  • Access to a steady stream of client referrals to help establish and grow your practice.
  • Support with billing and documentation to allow for a reduction in your administrative workload.
