Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create tailored therapy plans for clients based on their specific needs.
• Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, enabling them to gain insights into their mental health challenges.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to support client objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integrated care and the achievement of optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development workshops, enriching your knowledge and staying current with the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served by Recovery Services Center come from varied backgrounds and face numerous challenges, including mental health disorders, trauma, substance use, and family dynamics. As an LPC, you will work extensively with clients who may be navigating complicated life situations, providing support that promotes healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally in a clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and caseload capacity. In addition to a robust compensation package, you will enjoy:
