Job description

Paradigmworks Group Inc is looking for a Recreation Supervisor to lead our recreation team and create engaging activities for our students. In this role, you will oversee daily recreational programs, supervise staff, and use sports, fitness, and leisure activities to help young adults build career skills, teamwork, and healthy habits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Design and schedule inclusive recreation activities based on student interest surveys; teach weekly student leadership courses.
  • Staff Supervision: Train, schedule, and evaluate the recreation staff.
  • Student Skill-Building: Use activities to promote physical health, teamwork, communication, and work-readiness skills.
  • Safety & Compliance: Oversee student safety across all facilities and events, enforcing strict water safety guidelines and lifeguard standards.
  • Operations & Budget: Manage equipment inventory, track the department budget, and maintain indoor/outdoor recreation areas.

Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education or sports-related field. Experience in coaching, arranging sport events and rec activities, supervising recreational staff. Must have a driver's license with a good driving record. CPR/First Aid certification required. EOE
