Job description

The CNC Lathe Machinist will operate and set up CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality component parts for larger assemblies. Working as part of a machining team, the machinist will rely primarily on blueprints to guide production and ensure precise adherence to specifications. This role involves regular daily shifts and does not include maintenance responsibilities.


Shift: 1st and 2nd available

Schedule: Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday available

Hours: 4x10s or 5x8s (flexible hours)

Pay: $35-40 per hour

Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Employment


Machine Brand Experience: Nakamura, Okuma, Haas, Mori-Seiki.


Mainly 3-5 axis, job shop work.

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC lathe machines according to blueprint specifications
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Read and interpret blueprints to guide machining processes
  • Collaborate effectively within the machining team
  • Maintain production schedules during regular shifts

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
