With dynamic cross-training and advancement opportunities in a team-focused environment, the core of RadNet’s success is its people with the commitment to a better healthcare experience.  When you join RadNet as a Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

  • Referring Physicians/Community/IPA’s/Medical Groups
  • Establishes relationship with existing referring physicians and the community
  • Services and grows existing referring accounts
  • Makes cold calls to new referral sources
  • Meets/exceeds call schedule requirements of 15-20 per day
  • Identifies, prospects, and markets imaging services to local IPA’s, HMO’s, Medical Groups, referring physicians and the community
  • Maintains consistent attentiveness to the market and awareness of the target market by staying abreast of competitor activities and the marketplace
  • Plans and arranges daily activities and sales calls
  • Promotes new service, hours, radiologists, equipment, site specific programs to the referring offices and the community
  • Continuous growth of clinical knowledge to conduct clinical sales calls and clinically targeted campaigns to the referring physicians and the community
  • Stays abreast of referral patterns
  • Assists with submitting orders as needed
  • Updates the SVP of Sales & Marketing, Director of Operations, VP of Operations of any applicable changes or issues
  • Manages special projects as directed by the SVP of Sales & Marketing, VP of Operations and other Executive Leadership
  • Provides customer training to existing IPA’s, HMO’s, Medical Groups, referring physicians and the community
  • Identifies and notifies the SVP of Sales & Marketing and VP of Operations of service issues to the referring physicians, community, their staff, and patients
  • Provides services to the referring physicians and the community, by functioning as a liaison between the SVP of Sales & Marketing, VP of Operations, corporate management, and radiologists
  • Practices effective communication in all aspects of one’s performance representing accurate and appropriate information in a reliable manner
  • Keeps the SVP of Sales & Marketing informed of their marketing plan for the day, week, month, quarter, year.
  • Participates in all Sales & Marketing meetings required to perform and do their job accordingly, discuss issues, concerns, ideas, and/or developments
  • Participates in all Operations meetings required to perform and do their job accordingly
  • Direct contact for the local IPA’s Executive Management team
  • Implement national and regional contracts in accordance with the company’s policies
  • Builds strong relationships and company awareness in their region
  • Exercise creativity in growing their territory and seeking out new leads
  • Meets regularly with the SVP of Sales/Marketing, VP of Operations and Regional Operations and other corporate management staff to discuss issues, goals and objectives
  • Meets with their PSR’s regularly to discuss issues, goals and objective

  • You have a structured work-approach, understand complex problems and you are able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

  • Must have and use strong training and management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly developed organization and follow through skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to interact effectively with doctors, referring doctors and staff, patients, vendors, peers, staff and management
  • Must have minimum of 10 years proven sales experience in healthcare, managed care contracting and a minimum of 3 years of radiology experience
  • Professional selling skills/sales training courses desirable
  • 4 year college degree required
