Position Overview

Radiant Health Acupuncture is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Acupuncturist to join our dynamic team in Laredo, Texas. Our practice is devoted to delivering high-quality acupuncture care that enhances patient well-being through holistic and individualized treatment plans. This position provides the opportunity for a skilled acupuncturist to engage with patients, utilize various techniques, and contribute to their healing journey in a supportive outpatient environment.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office in Laredo, Texas, where you will collaborate closely with a team of experienced acupuncturists and support staff. Our facility is designed to create a calming and relaxing environment for both staff and patients, with private treatment rooms equipped with the latest tools and technology to enhance the patient experience. Your work schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, while serving patients in two locations within the Laredo area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat patients using a variety of tools and techniques, including acupuncture needles, cupping materials, ear seeds, and nutritional supplements while ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, analyzing medical histories and physical findings to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with Oriental medicine principles.
  • Educate patients on essential topics such as meditation practices, ergonomics, stretching exercises, nutrition, and other aspects that contribute to overall well-being.
  • Continuously monitor patient progress, evaluating treatment outcomes and adjusting care plans as needed to optimize health results.
  • Implement supportive therapies such as heat or cold applications through the effective use of various materials, including heat pads and compresses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients as necessary, facilitating referrals and connecting them to additional resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

We cater to a diverse patient demographic, which includes veterans, families, and individuals dealing with various health concerns. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

  • U.S. citizenship (non-citizens may only be appointed when qualified citizens are not available).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in acupuncture or a related field from an accredited program.
  • A current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice acupuncture.
  • Board certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), along with adherence to its continuing education requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of clinical experience working as a licensed acupuncturist, preferably in a multidisciplinary clinic or outpatient setting. Experience in patient education and wellness coaching is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $66,757 to $104,996 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan contributions, paid time off, and participation in seasonal influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination programs.
