Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, analyzing medical histories to develop accurate diagnoses based on Oriental medicine principles.
• Create and implement customized treatment plans utilizing a combination of acupuncture techniques, including needle insertion, cupping, and ear therapy.
• Educate patients on holistic health practices, including nutrition, meditation, stretching, and stress-management techniques that support their overall wellbeing.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as heat and cold therapy, employing materials like hydro collator packs and warm compresses, tailored to individual patient needs.
• Serve as a health educator by delivering engaging workshops on lifestyle changes that promote wellness outside of treatment sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Radiant Health Acupuncture, our diverse patient demographic includes individuals suffering from chronic pain, anxiety, stress-related disorders, headaches, digestive issues, and other conditions that respond positively to acupuncture therapy. You will work closely with patients to understand their unique health challenges and collaborate to create feasible solutions that lead to improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in any field along with a Master's degree in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an ACAOM-accredited program.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted state licensure to practice acupuncture.
• Board Certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), with a commitment to ongoing continuing education.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Critical thinking and assessment skills to formulate effective treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of practical experience as a licensed Acupuncturist.
• Experience working in outpatient settings or multidisciplinary clinics.
• Proficiency in alternative therapy modalities such as cupping, herbal medicine, and nutritional counseling.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $66,757 to $104,996 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
