Resolve Wellness is a behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment organization serving the greater Columbus community. We deliver a full continuum of care — Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), outpatient counseling, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), peer support, Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST), Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), and recovery housing. We are a quality-driven, accreditation-focused organization, and we are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to elevate our team's clinical excellence while mentoring the next generation of counselors and social workers.

Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical oversight, supervision, and leadership across Resolve Wellness's SUD and mental health programming. This role ensures that all clinical services meet the highest standards of care and remain fully compliant with Ohio Administrative Code, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, CARF, and Ohio Medicaid requirements. The Clinical Supervisor mentors clinical staff, supports their growth toward independent licensure where applicable, and partners with leadership to maintain a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group clinical supervision to counselors, CDCAs, social workers, and clinical staff in accordance with the standards of the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (OCDP) and the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board (CSWMFT).
• Oversee clinical quality and consistency of care across PHP, IOP, outpatient, MAT, CPST, and TBS programming.
• Review, co-sign, and ensure the integrity of diagnostic assessments, treatment/service plans, and clinical documentation for compliance with applicable rules and payer requirements.
• Apply ASAM Criteria and DSM-5-TR in support of placement, medical necessity, and utilization review decisions.
• Provide case consultation, clinical training, and crisis-related clinical guidance to staff.
• Document and verify supervision hours for staff working toward independent or advanced licensure.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, quality assurance/quality improvement (QA/QI) activities, and chart audits.
• Support CARF accreditation readiness and ongoing survey/audit preparation.
• Help develop and uphold clinical policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Maintain a limited direct caseload as program needs require.
• Model and reinforce ethical practice, professional boundaries, and confidentiality at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Ohio license — one of the following:
  • LSW (Licensed Social Worker)
  • LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor)
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field (or the credential-appropriate education for chemical dependency licensure).
• Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment.
• Prior supervisory, lead clinician, or program leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of ASAM Criteria, DSM-5-TR, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Ohio Administrative Code, and Ohio Medicaid documentation standards.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional or dual licensure across social work, counseling, and chemical dependency disciplines.
• Independent or supervision-designated licensure (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC-S, LICDC, or LICDC-CS) strongly preferred.
• Experience in a CARF-accredited setting.
• Experience supervising MAT, CPST, and/or TBS programming.
• Demonstrated success mentoring staff toward independent licensure.
