Pure Insight Counseling Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate mental health counselors to join our team in full-time positions. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide therapeutic services remotely at a leading community health clinic in Knoxville, Tennessee. You will engage with a diverse patient population and utilize evidence-based practices to foster positive mental health outcomes.

Work Environment

This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Although the standard work hours are established, some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to meet patient needs effectively. This ensures that therapists can offer timely support to clients, leading to enhanced therapeutic engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine individual patient needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, promoting communal healing and addressing prevalent mental health concerns.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and psychologists within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and local community resources available to them.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
• Participate actively in team consultations and meetings to share insights, strategies, and continuous improvements in therapeutic practices.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy to enhance your effectiveness and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The mental health counselors at Pure Insight will work with a diverse clientele representing various backgrounds and age groups. Our patients often deal with complex mental health issues, including but not limited to severe depression, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders. By providing compassionate care and strong therapeutic alliances, counselors will play an essential part in guiding patients toward recovery and stability.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, including intake evaluations with diverse populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective patient engagement and rapport-building.
• Professional integrity and sound judgment, particularly regarding ethics and boundaries in therapeutic settings.
• Ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient care accurately.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a track record of delivering both individual and group therapy.
• Experience in working remotely or with telehealth platforms is a plus, given the organization's remote work structure.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to attractive compensation, our benefits package includes:
