Psyche Counseling LLC is excited to announce a full-time opening for a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Bel Air, Maryland. This position is primarily remote but involves collaboration with our community health clinic to provide accessible mental health services. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to diagnose clients' conditions, creating personalized treatment plans that align with their needs and goals.
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans, adapting interventions based on client progress and feedback.
  • Document all client interactions and therapeutic services in compliance with legal, ethical, and company policies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide high-quality customer service while building therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborate effectively with case managers, medical personnel, and educational staff to coordinate holistic care for clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in clinical staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Take initiative in addressing other tasks and duties that enhance the effectiveness of the clinical team and contribute to our mission.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base ranges widely across different demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Candidates should be comfortable addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders, and possess the skills needed to adapt therapy techniques effectively based on individual needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a behavioral science, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries while providing empathetic support to clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet documentation deadlines.
  • Experience and comfort working within diverse populations.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on individual and group therapy.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
  • Experience in a community health clinic or similar environment is a plus.
