Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess client mental health diagnoses, collaborating with clients to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all client interactions, treatment progress, and session notes in accordance with regulatory and company protocols.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and counseling support, fostering a warm, therapeutic environment while addressing client needs and concerns.
  • Engage with case managers, medical personnel, and families to ensure a holistic approach to client care; act as a resource and advocate for clients during multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Innovate session content through creative intervention strategies, encouraging clients to exceed their therapeutic goals and enhance their coping skills.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through regular attendance at clinical staff meetings, training sessions, and collaborative workshops.
  • Contribute positively to the ever-evolving culture of the clinic by embracing new initiatives and adapting to the changing needs of our community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health counselor at Psyche Counseling LLC, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various behavioral health issues. Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid clinical licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.

  • Proficient in setting and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
  • Skilled in managing and documenting service delivery promptly and accurately.
  • Comfortable and confident in working with a diverse array of clients, demonstrating sensitivity to their cultural and personal contexts.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical or counseling setting, particularly within community health or outpatient programs.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
