This flexibility allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering essential services to clients. You will collaborate with a team of mental health professionals who share similar values and goals, designed to support you in your practice and enhance the quality of care provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to provide support in managing various psychological challenges, including trauma, relationships, anxiety, depression, and communication issues.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that prioritize client values, goals, and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to therapy.
  • Foster a therapeutic environment that encourages trust, open communication, and collaboration between patients and staff.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques that align with patients' treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, mental health professionals, and case managers to facilitate a comprehensive approach to client care.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing immediate psychological distress.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions, pursuing certifications, and expanding your knowledge in specialty areas such as trauma-focused therapy or couples counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including individuals seeking personal development, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families confronting various stressors. Your expertise will be critical in helping these clients improve their interpersonal relationships and emotional well-being. By employing a client-centered approach, you will empower your clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Current licensure to practice as an LCMFT in the state of Maryland.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnostic capabilities, and case management across varied client populations.
  • Exceptional communication and counseling skills, with a strong emphasis on empathetic client interaction.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
  • Thorough understanding of ethical standards, confidentiality mandates, and legal provisions governing therapeutic practices.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a practicing Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Experience working with specific populations, such as adolescents, couples, or clients with trauma histories, is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual therapy platforms to enhance remote counseling services.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance options to support your well-being.
  • A retirement savings plan (401k) with company matching to help you plan for your future.
  • Continuing education stipends or reimbursement for professional development, licenses, certifications, and training.
  • Flexible scheduling options to accommodate your work-life balance and personal commitments.

As you progress in your role, there will be opportunities to specialize in areas of interest, lead workshops, and mentor less experienced colleagues. Additionally, we offer a supportive environment that encourages innovation and the exploration of new therapeutic techniques.
