This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are seeking a compassionate Respite Provider to assist an amazing kiddo and their family in the Eau Claire, WI area. The ideal provider will help build communication skills and encourage physical abilities through fun, interactive activities at home and in the community.
Wage:
• $17.66/hour
Location:
• Eau Claire, WI; (respite care is to take place in the child's home & community)
Schedule:
• Schedule to be determined between provider and managing party.
• Approximately 10hrs/month, primarily used for occasional weekend date nights.
Tasks:
• Provide respite care either in the kiddo's home -or out in the community.
• Continue with potty training goals.
• Assist with communication skills and physical tasks (i.e. stairs)
• Above all, hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys: reading, short walks outside, jumping on the trampoline, bubbles, Mickey Mouse, Frozen, her siblings' sporting events, & so much more..
Qualifications:
• Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
• Valid driver's license/reliable transportation
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Preference to those with previous experience working with individuals with support needs.
