Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while contributing significantly to our mission to serve children and families. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of young children to determine developmental needs and create individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring a tailored approach to each family's unique dynamics.
• Monitor progress and outcomes in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, making necessary adjustments to strategies as child development progresses.
• Provide essential support and coaching to families to empower them to engage effectively in their child's development and treatment journey.
• Administer comprehensive assessments and utilize evidence-based practices to enhance outcomes for children.
• Foster strong, trusting relationships with children and their families to create an optimal developmental environment.
• Utilize the Natural Learning Environment Approach, promoting family interactions that benefit child learning.
• Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations related to child welfare and social work practice.
• Utilize a coaching model to educate families, providing them with valuable skills and knowledge regarding developmentally appropriate practices.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and ethical standards to ensure the welfare of both staff and clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on the youngest population, specifically children with developmental delays or disabilities. You will work closely with families to create a supportive network around the child, equipping parents with the necessary tools to foster their child's growth during critical early developmental stages.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW licensure recognized by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license to facilitate travel as necessary.
• Demonstrated experience in working with children, particularly within early intervention settings, is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to responsive care practices that respect each child's individual learning style.
• Proven organizational and time management capabilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Collaborative spirit to work flawlessly within a team environment and engage with families.

Preferred Experience

While experience with various therapeutic interventions is desirable, candidates with at least one year of hands-on experience in early childhood settings will be highly favored. Familiarity with Family-Centered Practices and Natural Learning Environment approaches will also set applicants apart.

Compensation and Benefits
