The Progressive Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team of professionals in providing high-quality mental health care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and formulate tailored treatment plans that reflect our commitment to evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and others, to effectively address unique client concerns.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that promote understanding and solutions to common mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and support among participants.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates various therapeutic strategies, enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Respond to mental health crises with prompt and effective intervention strategies, supporting clients during emergencies with compassion and skill.
  • Educate clients about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources to empower them on their wellness journey.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards while documenting treatment progress and patient interactions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in team meetings, case consultations, and relevant training sessions, staying current with advancements in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing significant mental health challenges such as trauma, relationship issues, addiction, and emotional distress. You will develop meaningful therapeutic relationships, providing a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while guiding them toward positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of mental health conditions, evidenced by a track record of applying effective treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth mental health assessments and create impactful treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with diverse populations is essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, promoting collaborative relationships with clients and team members alike.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, ideally within a community health or similar facility.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote delivery of therapy will be an advantage in our increasingly digital work environment.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
