About the Organization

At ProActive Therapy Centre, our mission is to deliver high-quality therapeutic services that empower individuals to regain their strength and independence. We are rooted in a culture of inclusivity and support, ensuring that all team members feel valued and connected. Our outpatient clinics are highly regarded for utilizing the latest evidence-based practices, combining advanced treatment methods with ongoing education, innovation, and research in the medical field.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our outpatient facility in Woodbridge, where collaboration and communication amongst healthcare professionals are emphasized. Our work environment is designed to foster a supportive team ecosystem, allowing therapists to share insights and strategies that enhance patient care. Your workdays will run Monday to Friday, providing optimal work-life balance and a predictable schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing patient histories, performing specific assessments, and compiling actionable recommendations based on findings.
  • Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, integrating their feedback into goal setting and treatment commitments.
  • Implement tailored treatment protocols based on individual evaluations, patient presentations, and current healthcare trends to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare providers, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may necessitate plan modifications.
  • Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring timely documentation and accurate coding for all patient care activities, while maintaining compliance with evolving healthcare policies.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills that meet or exceed productivity expectations, including maintaining an organized schedule and punctuality for all meetings.
  • Engage actively in achieving departmental goals, ensuring compliance with all accreditation and regulatory standards.
  • Take an initiative in pursuing continuing education, enhancing both personal competency and organizational growth, while mentoring future professionals as a clinical instructor.
  • Promote patient-centered care by identifying and addressing barriers to access, and actively participate in community outreach and marketing strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with ProActive Therapy Centre, you will work with a diverse patient population dealing with various physical challenges, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Your dedication to providing individualized attention and care will significantly impact their recovery journey and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • State licensing as required for practice in New Jersey.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
  • Prior professional experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to establish a career in outpatient therapy.
Preferred Experience

While one year of experience is preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates eager to apply their knowledge in a practical setting. A passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous learning are essential traits we look for in candidates.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding salary, we provide an extensive benefits package that includes:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with competitive company matching.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family.
  • Promotional health and wellness programs aimed at fostering a robust workplace health culture.
  • Generous paid time off policies to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
  • Ongoing continuing education opportunities and professional development support.
  • A constructive and collaborative work atmosphere, enhanced by access to the Employee Health Assistance Fund for times of need.
