Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and personalize treatment plans tailored for each client based on their specific needs, history, and goals.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups using evidence-informed practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans that optimize client outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld.
• Engage in continuous professional development including attending workshops, webinars, and conferences to stay at the forefront of mental health research and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied client demographic requiring support for challenges including stress management, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma. Your therapeutic expertise will aid them on their unique paths to emotional recovery and growth, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of supervised counseling experience, ideally in a clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of ethical practices and legal requirements within mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate building rapport and trust with clients.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a healthcare team setting.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related clinical applications.

Preferred Experience
