This position offers the flexibility of a remote outpatient office setting, allowing counselors to work comfortably from home while maintaining the ability to connect with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to gain insight into clients’ mental health needs and concerns.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client goals, considering their unique circumstances and preferences.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients’ progress toward treatment goals, adjusting strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Document clinical sessions and maintain accurate records in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and certifications to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Prairie Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Our focus is on providing compassionate care tailored to each individual, with an emphasis on fostering resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Active and valid state license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients.
• Empathetic and compassionate disposition, with a strong non-judgmental attitude toward diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management to balance a caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a private practice or outpatient setting, providing individual therapy.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and related technologies for virtual client engagements.
• A background in collaborative treatments and multi-disciplinary team approaches is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to competitive pay, our counselors benefit from the following:
