Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will undertake the following critical responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify and analyze clients' social, emotional, and psychological issues as part of their detox and recovery process.
  • Provide individualized counseling and emotional support tailored to meet the unique needs of clients navigating substance use and mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Design and implement comprehensive service plans with measurable goals to track client progress and evaluate outcomes effectively.
  • Advocate for client rights and access to vital resources, tirelessly working to eliminate barriers that hinder their recovery and wellness.
  • Partner with community organizations, healthcare professionals, and governmental agencies to enhance overall service delivery and resource accessibility.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, training workshops, and community outreach activities to strengthen your skills and knowledge base.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work directly with clients undergoing detoxification and grappling with co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clientele may include individuals from diverse backgrounds, often facing multifaceted challenges such as trauma, poverty, and social isolation. Your role will be crucial in providing support, advocacy, and comprehensive care that addresses the biopsychosocial aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
  • Proficient understanding of trauma-informed care and social justice frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, empathize with clients, and organize caseloads efficiently.
Preferred Experience
