Our ideal candidate will actively engage in therapeutic interventions aimed at maximizing patient independence, enhancing mobility, and preventing long-term disability.

About the Organization

Positive Change Therapy, LLC is a well-established outpatient therapy clinic dedicated to providing high-quality physical rehabilitation services. Our mission is to empower individuals to reclaim their health and well-being through personalized therapy approaches. With minimal bureaucratic barriers, our therapists can focus on delivering superior patient care while reducing paperwork burden.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restore and maintain patient functionality, enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent permanent disabilities through evidence-based physical therapy techniques.
  • Administer care to a diverse outpatient caseload, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to tailor treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

  • Accurately document each evaluation and treatment session in our electronic medical records system, ensuring meticulous billing practices and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Conduct screenings for specific conditions such as Lymphedema and fall risk assessments to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Craft and implement individualized treatment programs grounded in the latest physical therapy principles and methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of individuals of all ages dealing with various physical limitations due to injuries, surgeries, chronic conditions, or other health challenges. Our emphasis is on developing customized therapy programs that cater not just to physical ailments but also to cognitive and psychosocial factors that may impact recovery. This role will grant you the opportunity to work with diverse groups, including pediatric patients, ensuring comprehensive recovery plans are executed effectively.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current Florida PT licensure, with no restrictions.

  • Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a robust understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
  • A background in working with both pediatric and adult populations, offering versatility in patient care.
  • Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and comfort in both clinical and inpatient environments, essential for integrated patient handling.
  • Competence in delivering high-quality inpatient care and familiarity with therapeutic methodologies specific to outpatient services.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional credentials such as board certification in a specialty area or experience with specific therapeutic modalities will be considered beneficial. Candidates who have innovatively contributed to departmental education efforts or community health initiatives may gain an advantage in the selection process.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans to support your health and well-being.
  • Professional liability insurance to ensure peace of mind in practice.
  • Employee assistance programs offering mental health support.
  • Minimal administrative paperwork to maximize your patient-facing time.
