Work Environment

You will collaborate with educators, parents, and administrative staff to create a robust support system for students experiencing emotional and behavioral obstacles. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions tailored for individual students and small groups, addressing various psychological needs and challenges.
• Develop, implement, and monitor customized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and direct feedback from clients, ensuring engagement and efficacy.
• Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to enhance client success, engaging in case consultations and strategy discussions.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation using client management software to ensure compliance with Massachusetts state regulations and organizational standards.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for school staff, promoting awareness of mental health issues and strategies to support student well-being.
• Act as a point of contact for family support services, providing resources and guidance to parents navigating mental health challenges with their children.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role encompasses working with school-aged children, ranging from elementary to high school students. You will engage with diverse youth populations, including those with behavioral difficulties, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health challenges. Your commitment to culturally informed and responsive care will be critical in effectively understanding and addressing each student's unique situation.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license to practice in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years' experience in clinical social work, particularly within school or community mental health settings.
• Excellent assessment and treatment planning capabilities, alongside a strong foundational knowledge of mental health intervention strategies.
• A profound commitment to practicing ethical principles and providing culturally sensitive care, with an ability to adapt practices to meet diverse needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with school-based mental health interventions, including crisis intervention and behavioral management.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and client management processes.
• Previous experience working in a remote team environment, showcasing adaptability and strong communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
