Position Overview

Poplar Spring Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position will primarily support clients in Chula Vista, California, and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health challenges and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client’s unique situation.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, fostering a safe environment for clients to express and explore their feelings.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Utilize client management systems to document and track therapy sessions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining thorough records.
• Assist clients in setting and achieving personal goals through structured therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care, making referrals when appropriate.
• Stay updated with the latest research and therapeutic techniques in marriage and family therapy to enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds and life circumstances. Your therapeutic focus will encompass a range of issues such as relational conflicts, mental health disorders, trauma, and personal crises. Your skills will be essential in guiding clients through their struggles, facilitating their growth, and helping them forge stronger connections in their personal relationships.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in California.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies suited for individuals, couples, and families.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards in therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Previous experience working with diverse clients and addressing a wide range of mental health issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and client management software.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
