Position Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team at Phoenix Behavioral Hub. In this full-time role, you will provide essential mental health support to students and their families within a school setting, contributing directly to enhancing the welfare and development of our young clients. As an LCSW, you will work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and the community to implement effective interventions and support systems.

Work Environment

This role is remote, allowing flexibility while you support students and families effectively from a distance. You will engage with clients primarily through virtual sessions, making use of video conferencing tools and electronic health records. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to students experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders, utilizing various therapeutic techniques suitable for the school environment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans to promote mental wellness.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive environments conducive to student success, particularly for those struggling with mental health issues.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, participate in case management, and facilitate workshops focused on mental health awareness and resilience.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in alignment with organizational and ethical standards.
• Engage in feedback and supervision activities to enhance clinical skills and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds attending schools in underserved areas of Arlington, Texas. This population may include children and adolescents facing a range of challenges, including family issues, socio-economic hardships, cognitive or learning disabilities, and various emotional disturbances. You will work to not only address these specific challenges but also to reduce stigma and promote mental health awareness within their communities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
• A valid and active LCSW license to practice in the State of Texas.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues, particularly in the context of school-aged children and adolescents.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and maintaining electronic health records.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with an understanding of educational systems and challenges.
• Familiarity with community-based resources and services that address mental health and child welfare.
• Previous experience in conducting group therapy or workshops on mental health topics.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and education.
