This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health services within a school setting. You will be instrumental in supporting students facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges, which directly contributes to their academic success and overall well-being.

About the Organization

At Phoenix Behavioral Hub, located in Arvada, Colorado, we are committed to promoting healthier communities by delivering quality, patient-centered healthcare services in medically underserved areas. Our mission emphasizes innovation and model behavior for healthcare centers nationwide. We pride ourselves on a collaborative environment that champions diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that every team member contributes to our vision of providing accessible mental health services, regardless of a patient's ability to pay.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to engage with students and their families from the comfort of your home while providing flexibility in your work-life balance. The position entails collaborating with educators and school staff to create a supportive network for students. While much of your time will be spent in virtual consultations, occasional on-site interactions may be required to foster relationships within the school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients dealing with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, employing evidence-based treatment methods through telehealth and remote communication.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving emotional resilience and coping skills.
  • Actively collaborate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers to develop integrated care plans that ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Conduct developmental screenings and connect clients with necessary resources, facilitating referrals to external services as needed.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and contribute to the development of program initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health services within the school environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Identify and report any safety concerns as they arise, employing appropriate measures to safeguard the wellbeing of clients and staff.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities aimed at enhancing clinical skills and staying updated on best practices in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may face socio-economic challenges and varying degrees of emotional distress. As a social worker, your role will involve culturally competent engagement with both the youth and their families, understanding unique beliefs and values that influence their perspectives. Your work will assist in creating a stable and safe educational environment where students can flourish socially and academically.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required; a Master’s degree or LCSW licensure is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience providing mental health services in settings that include schools, communities, or healthcare facilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Keen organizational skills with proficiency in managing multiple cases and documentation requirements efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, particularly those with behavioral and emotional struggles.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote assessment tools.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services available for mental health support.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our employment package includes competitive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, generous paid time off, and continuing education support.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Phoenix Behavioral Hub, we believe in fostering the professional growth of our team members. As an LCSW, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities aimed at enhancing your clinical skills and advancing your career within our organization. Potential pathways include supervisory roles or specialized focus areas within mental health care.
