Job description

The Best Players Need the Best People.
This position is responsible for maximizing utilization and revenue generation across PGA TOUR Studios' production facilities, technical infrastructure and production services by securing third-party productions, studio rentals and commercial production opportunities.
This role serves as the commercial lead for external studio and production sales, developing relationships with broadcasters, streaming platforms, leagues, federations, production companies, agencies and content creators seeking world-class production facilities and services. The position is accountable for converting available production capacity into revenue-generating opportunities while establishing PGA TOUR Studios as a preferred destination for live and non-live content production.
In addition to studio commercialization, this role identifies and develops opportunities to monetize PGA TOUR production capabilities, technology assets and operational expertise through licensing arrangements, service agreements and strategic commercial partnerships. Working closely with PGA TOUR Studios leadership, Media Business Development, Corporate Partnerships and Technology teams, the position ensures commercial opportunities align with enterprise priorities while delivering measurable revenue growth and increased utilization of PGA TOUR assets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in studio sales, production services sales, media operations business development, venue commercialization or related commercial leadership roles
  • Proven success generating revenue through production facilities, broadcast operations, studio rentals, production services or media infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage sales pipelines while originating and closing complex commercial agreements
  • Experience selling to broadcasters, streaming platforms, sports leagues, production companies, agencies, content owners or enterprise media clients
  • Strong understanding of studio operations, broadcast production workflows and production economics
  • Experience developing pricing strategies, utilization models and commercial service offerings
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including deal structuring, forecasting and contract negotiation
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and build partnerships across diverse organizations
  • Existing network across media, broadcast, production, entertainment or sports industries preferred
  • Experience commercializing technology, production services or operational capabilities preferred
  • Experience within sports, media, entertainment or large-scale live event environments preferred

Responsibilities
  • Own the commercial utilization strategy for PGA TOUR Studios, maximizing occupancy and revenue generation across studio facilities, production resources and technical infrastructure
  • Develop and execute proactive sales strategies targeting broadcasters, streaming platforms, sports leagues, production companies, agencies and content creators
  • Build, maintain and manage a robust pipeline of third-party productions, studio rentals and production-service engagements
  • Identify available production capacity and convert unused inventory into revenue-generating opportunities
  • Establish PGA TOUR Studios as a premier destination for live and non-live content production through targeted outreach and relationship development
  • Package and sell studio space, production facilities, control rooms, production technology, technical operations support and post-production services
  • Develop commercial offerings, pricing structures and service models that improve facility utilization and profitability
  • Achieve established revenue, utilization and client acquisition objectives
  • Lead end-to-end commercial opportunity development, including prospecting, proposal creation, negotiation and contract execution
  • Structure and negotiate commercial agreements aligned with enterprise priorities and operational capabilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across media, entertainment, sports and production industries
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for external clients utilizing TOUR Studios facilities and production services
  • Collaborate with Media Business Development, Corporate Partnerships and other commercial teams to ensure coordinated market engagement
  • Build repeatable commercial offerings that can be scaled across multiple clients and production opportunities
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to commercialize TOUR production technologies, scoring systems and operational capabilities
  • Evaluate new markets and applications for TOUR production infrastructure and technical capabilities
  • Develop commercial models that extend the value of TOUR assets beyond traditional golf programming
  • Assist in bringing new business opportunities to market that leverage existing production and technology investments
  • Partner closely with Production Operations, Engineering, Technology and Studio leadership to align commercial commitments with operational capacity
  • Coordinate with Legal and Finance teams to structure agreements, finalize contracts and support revenue forecasting
  • Ensure all opportunities comply with existing rights agreements, contractual obligations and enterprise commercial strategies
  • Track pipeline performance, conversion rates, utilization metrics and revenue generation to inform business decisions
  • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback and industry insights to support future growth opportunities
