Position Overview

Pathway Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role, serving as an integral part of our hospice center. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing flexibility while ensuring you can effectively reach clients in need. Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to assess their mental health and emotional well-being, utilizing evidence-based techniques and individualized therapeutic interventions.
• Establish positive relationships with clients to foster trust and cooperation, enhancing the therapeutic alliance necessary for effective care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care plans that address the diverse needs of clients, ensuring access to support services as needed.
• Conduct brief, developmentally appropriate screenings and assessments to identify mental health conditions and risk factors.
• Participate proactively in crisis intervention situations, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring client safety at all times.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up meetings and adjust treatment plans accordingly to align with client feedback and evolving needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development to refine skills, share best practices, and remain informed on advancements in mental health care.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation, reports, and data entries, maintaining compliance with all relevant guidelines and protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on individuals experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, particularly within the context of end-of-life care and hospice services. You will be serving a diverse clientele, reflecting a variety of backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures, underscoring the need for culturally competent care that respects and integrates clients' unique values and traditions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas is required.
• Expert knowledge in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and crisis management.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, candidates with relevant internship experience in a social work or mental health setting will also be considered. Familiarity with hospice care or end-of-life issues would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
