Job Summary
The Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritious meals in accordance with established menus, dietary requirements, and sanitation standards. This role also supports kitchen operations, maintains food safety practices, and assists in supervising dietary staff to ensure quality service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and food storage standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and supply management
- Support dietary team members and provide excellent service to residents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
