Job description

Attention: This is an onsite year-round internship based in De Pere, WI (Green Bay area). Current interns typically work 2-4 days per week, averaging 4-8 hours per day. During the summer and winter break periods, hours generally increase to full-time.
Join our Operations team and see how the transportation industry really works. This internship gives you the opportunity to build relationships with professional drivers, learn the ins and outs of logistics, and understand what it takes to keep freight moving across the country.
At PTI, we do internships a little differently.
We welcome students from all years of college - from freshmen to graduating seniors - and from a variety of majors such as Business, Supply Chain, Management, or related fields. Whether you're exploring your interests or building your career foundation, you'll gain valuable, hands-on business experience.

What skills will you learn?
  • Grow and build relationships with professional drivers
  • Work in a team setting to find creative solutions to operational challenges
  • Maintain, schedule and dispatching for drivers
  • Learn different fleets to cover various Driver Manager desk functions
  • Audit drivers pay requests and manage missing paperwork
  • Assist in coaching drivers to develop skills and relationships
  • Use your attention to detail and follow through to ensure our team is successfully meeting on time delivery.
  • Navigate through multiple systems to keep operations running smoothly.
