Convenience Store Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking a Convenience Store Customer Service Representative (Customer Service Rep) to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality customer service. As a Customer Service Rep, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that every customer has a positive experience during their visit. In this role, you will greet customers with a warm smile and assist them in finding the products they need. You will handle transactions, help manage inventory, and maintain cleanliness. You will handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that the register is balanced at the end of your shift. Additionally, you will be responsible for restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in telephone customer service or a related role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with customer account management systems.
  • Ability to successfully complete Class C Petroleum Operator Training Course.
  • Ability to successfully complete Railroad Commission Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Point-of-Sale system.
  • Demonstrated problem resolution skills in a customer service setting.
  • Multilingual abilities to support diverse customer bases.
  • Experience with handling charge accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Stock and replenish shelves and displays.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
  • Process customer orders and handle product returns or exchanges.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels.
  • Operate cash registers and other store equipment.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 6:00PM

Saturday – Sunday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
