POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a 16-week onsite contract assignment in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IV compounding, including hazardous and non-hazardous medications, along with Pyxis restocking and inventory management. This role supports a 24/7/365 operation and requires flexibility to work variable shifts, primarily day and evening schedules. Candidates must hold an active Washington State Pharmacy Technician license and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.


REQUIRED SKILLS

Primary (Must-Have):

  • Minimum 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician License
  • IV Compounding experience (hazardous and non-hazardous)
  • Experience with Pyxis restocking and inventory management
  • Ability to work variable shifts in a 24/7 healthcare environment


Secondary (Good to Have):

  • Hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance knowledge
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and compound IV medications, including hazardous and non-hazardous products
  • Perform Pyxis restocking, inventory control, and medication management tasks
  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution processes
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy safety standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment


SHIFT DETAILS

  • Variable shifts (24/7/365 operation)
  • Primarily Day and Evening shifts
  • Guaranteed Work Week: 40 Hours
