    Job description

    Title: Packaging Machine Operator (AHP)

    Location: Columbus, OH 43217

    Job Type: 6 months Temp to Hire.
    Shift Hours: Monday- Friday- 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm | Pay rate : $18.00/Hr.

    Position Summary

    REQUIRED:

    • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
    • Stand for a minimum of 8-12 hours
    • Manual dexterity with hands
    • Ability to work in a team environment is a must
    • Lifting/Handing/Pushing items that will weigh on average 25lbs, can be up to 35lbs.
    • Previous experience as assembler/production line preferred

    Job duties:

    • Stages preapproved repackaging material and equipment for production run.
    • Assists in operating packaging equipment including minor troubleshooting and follows escalation protocol in a timely manner when minor troubleshooting efforts fail.
    • Takes direction from management for repackaging raw material into finished product that are within packaging specifications and meet all quality standards.
    • Takes direction from management while working alongside of Packaging Machine Operator when escalation to maintenance support is needed for a mechanical issue.
    • Assists PMO in production room and equipment cleans/sanitation
    • Responsible for being actively engaged in all packaging training, as well as compliance and other training required as a member of the operations team.
    • Adheres to all cGMPs, safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Maintains good housekeeping throughout the shift in the work areas.
    • Works as a team member with other members of the AHP operations team to meet and/or exceed quality and production goals.
    • Work in partnership with supporting areas, such as quality to report production/quality issues that prevent operations from achieving its goals.
      Performs related duties as assigned.
    • Ability to read, write and understand the English language for the purpose of reading documents, product labels and instructions. Must have good written skills for the purpose of accurately completing compliance documentation for production runs.
    • Must possess basic mathematical skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others and work in a team based environment.
      Detail oriented.
    • Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
    • The ability to identify production and quality issues in the production environment.
