Job description
Job Description: Position is for a Systems Administrator to support NSWC Philadelphia and Surface Ship modernization programs. The candidate shall support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Duties will involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. This administrator will maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. The position will require working with customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications. As required by the government, the candidate will maintain Cybersecurity Work Force qualification. • Manage and maintain servers • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Experience supporting Red Hat Linux 7/8/9
• Experience supporting cloud services AWS/Azure
• Active directory management, NTFS security and disk space management
• Provide support to developers via telephone and on-line support using MS Teams and other remote software
