Oracle Counseling Center is actively seeking a committed Full-Time Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in mood disorders to join our highly respected outpatient office located in Mesa, Arizona. Work Environment

This position will be carried out primarily through a remote work setting, allowing you flexibility while ensuring that you have the resources and support needed to perform your clinical tasks effectively. Our outpatient office environment is collaborative, where we encourage continuous communication and teamwork among staff. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring accessibility for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms. This includes using structured clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment of mood disorders.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and essential self-care practices to enhance understanding and support.
  • Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans based on feedback and clinical observations to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach that addresses all aspects of the client’s mental health.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in mood disorder research and best practices to continually refine therapeutic methods.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for all client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards, prioritizing confidentiality and security.
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster a culture of learning and professional growth.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, addressing stigma around mood disorders and promoting their mental health needs within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus at Oracle Counseling Center is on individuals experiencing mood-related disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with a diverse client base, tailoring approaches to fit varying backgrounds and needs. Your insights and therapeutic strategies will play an essential role in enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to foster meaningful connections with clients from diverse backgrounds, enhancing the therapeutic alliance.
  • A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals involved in client care.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of post-licensure experience specializing in treating mood disorders is preferred.
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary setting, working alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
  • Successful history of client outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders, demonstrating your capability in this vital role.
Compensation and Benefits
