As an LCSW at our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing personalized care plans and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve client well-being.

About the Organization

Opti Mind Behavioral Health is committed to offering innovative mental health services tailored to the diverse needs of our clients. Our focus is on holistic and compassionate approaches to mental wellness, creating an inclusive environment where every client feels valued and understood. This position offers a fully remote work setting, empowering our staff with the tools and technology needed to provide effective care from the comfort of their home offices. You will engage with clients primarily through secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a conducive environment for therapy. We provide comprehensive training and logistical support to help you succeed in a virtual landscape while maintaining professional standards dictated by state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' challenges and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving measurable goals.
  • Deliver virtual psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, effectively addressing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relationship issues.
  • Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques tailored to meet client needs.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support to clients as necessary, utilizing your clinical acumen to guide individuals during challenging times.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records using electronic healthcare records systems in adherence to California state regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and fellow therapists, to ensure holistic care for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients seeking mental health support within a remote detox center environment. Your clientele may include individuals experiencing substance use issues, as well as those facing anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring clients receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique situations, enabling them to achieve sustainable wellness outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid LCSW license in California with no disciplinary actions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a telehealth setting.
  • Strong familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective virtual therapy sessions.
  • Must possess a reliable high-speed internet connection and an ergonomic home office setup compliant with HIPAA standards.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in substance use treatment, particularly in a detox or rehabilitation setting.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • A background in collaborative care models, working closely with an interdisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits
