Are you a driven candidate with solid parts and management experience? If so, we are looking for you! We are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate candidate who will partner with our growing team. The role is located at our Bakersfield, CA location.

The ideal candidate understands the heavy equipment business and has a drive for being an active part of solutions. You set the bar high and set an example for other leaders and colleagues on how to work collaboratively with the highest level of integrity.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Unload trucks using a forklift from either the ground or dock.
  • Receive parts into warehouse, check for accuracy, label as needed and stock.
  • Pull parts orders for delivery.
  • Assist other as needed.
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Inspects truck or automobile equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Washes vehicle a minimum of once a week.
  • Drives truck or equipment to assigned location.
  • Pick up parts and equipment from customers, and vendors, coordinating with Warehouse Manager, Parts Manager, Parts Counter or Warehouse staff.
  • Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
  • Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine maintenance on truck or equipment.
  • Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and practice them.
  • Completes a log at the time of delivery and requests recipient's signature.
  • Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
  • Maintains professional appearance of the Parts Department and represents the Company by professional demeanor, being courteous with all those coming into contact.
  • Reports accidents to HR immediately, obtaining names, license numbers and other details.
  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery of vehicle or equipment.
  • Participates in all available training programs.
  • Operates forklift and maintains current fork lift license.
  • Must work with and for all departments in harmony.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a minimum of a Class E license, able to operate a standard transmission and clean driving record to remain insurable.
  • A minimum of one year warehouse experience.
  • Able to qualify as a fork truck operator and must maintain license.
  • Interpersonal skills are a must.
