We partner with architects, designers, contractors, and building owners to deliver innovative facade and glazing solutions that shape the built environment.

We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and relationship-driven Architectural Facade Design Manager to lead architectural specification efforts. Based in Miami, this highly visible role will focus on securing basis-of-design specifications, developing strong relationships within the architectural community, and driving project opportunities that support continued regional growth.

Position Summary

The Architectural Facade Design Manager is responsible for promoting OBE and CRL products and solutions to architects, designers, developers, consultants, and general contractors throughout the region. The successful candidate will leverage industry expertise, established market relationships, and technical knowledge to secure project specifications, build a robust pipeline of opportunities, and support project wins from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure OBE products as the basis of design on architectural projects throughout the region.
  • Track project opportunities, specifications, and activity within the OBE CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with Architectural Specialists, Marketing, Strategic Sales, and Distribution Sales teams to drive project specifications and wins.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and industry relationships that lead to sales growth.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously throughout the design and development process.
  • Conduct strategic customer visits, presentations, and appointments with architects, designers, developers, consultants, owners, and general contractors.
  • Promote OBE and CRL products, systems, and technical solutions to key decision-makers.
  • Build and strengthen relationships within the regional architectural and design community.
  • Maintain expert-level product knowledge and provide technical recommendations to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Participate in regional AIA, CSI, IIDA, and other industry association meetings and events.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements, communicating insights to leadership.
  • Pursue ongoing professional and personal development opportunities.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed (approximately 30%).
QualificationsRequired
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the specification-driven bidding process within the design and construction industry.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of the glass and glazing industry.
  • Established relationships within the Miami architectural and design community.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, architectural sales, business development, or related roles focused on the design community.
  • Proven track record of success in positions with significant accountability and business impact.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the confidence to engage large groups of architects, designers, and project teams.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide solution-based recommendations for complex project requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings, interpret specifications, and understand construction documentation.
  • Comfortable working across a broad architectural product portfolio.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred
  • LEED Accreditation.
  • BIM project management experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative team player with a positive attitude and growth mindset.
