Summary:
To assist with preventive maintenance service of HVAC rental equipment. Assist with assembly of all HVAC packaged products. Help with shop organization and material handling along with cleaning and prepping equipment for customer rentals. Assist with product packaging. Assemble units and organize parts. Safe equipment handling. Deliver compact equipment and assist with setup. Experience with lock-out tag-out procedure. Demonstrate knowledge of all safety practices and procedures relating to voltage up to 480 volts. Proficient at using all hand tools. Knowledge of all safety procedures while working with hand tools. Capable of safely using power tools: band saw, chop saw, circular saw, saws-all, stationary grinder, hand grinder, drill, and impact driver. Clean equipment and filters, lube bearings, check belts for wear and tightness and Inspect coils for damage, dirt, and leaks.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Enrollment in a recognized HVAC Tech school is preferred but not required.
  • One to two years of experience in the electrical, mechanical, or automotive field is preferred but not required.
  • One to two years of experience working with hand tools and battery tools along with air tools.
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and/or carry moderate weight (15-50 pounds), sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, repetitive hand motions, hear, and speak, some travel within the area and occasionally outside the area, and may experience prolonged and irregular work hours, and work with frequent interruptions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
