Responsibilities
Noblis supports FAA in the management of large and complex telecommunications and information management programs that use state of the art technologies to deliver enterprise infrastructure services essential to the safe and efficient operation of the largest, safest, and most complex aviation system in the world. Systems/Network Engineer - IESP Monitoring Supports the planning, design, and implementation of network monitoring solutions for IESP-hosted systems. Develops, documents, and implements monitoring configurations to ensure system health and performance visibility across the IESP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements monitoring solutions for IESP-hosted systems and new infrastructure assets
  • Troubleshoots monitoring issues, coordinating with internal teams and vendor support to resolve
  • Develops monitoring-related tasks for physical-to-virtual (P2V) conversions
  • Documents SNMP monitoring procedures (including SNMPv3) for network storage devices
  • Develops and documents on-boarding monitoring for newly hosted systems
  • Implements monitoring for EDMZ and PDMZ proxy and SFTP server environments
  • Works within network management tools (e.g., OpenView) to monitor, diagnose, and measure system performance
  • Coordinates with project teams to integrate monitoring requirements into broader infrastructure efforts

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years experience. Equivalency substitutions to be reviewed for client approval:
    • Associate's degree and 8 years experience
  • Ability to travel to meetings at FAA or vendor facilities around the U.S if required by the role.
  • Experience supporting federal government programs within the FAA.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident with a minimum of three (3) years of U.S. residency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust

Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and/or in collaborative team environments to complete assigned tasks within expected schedule to complete
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple systems, priorities, and compliance activities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and review formal security documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.
Posted Salary Range
USD $71,800.00 - USD $112,150.00 /Yr.
